Why we built Pixtide
Most of us have thousands of photos we will never look at again. Screenshots of addresses we already visited. Blurry duplicates. Memes from 2019. They pile up quietly until your phone tells you storage is full.
The existing tools for dealing with this are either too complicated (selecting tiny thumbnails one by one) or too aggressive (AI deciding what you should keep). We wanted something in between.
Pixtide gives you a simple choice for every photo: keep it, delete it, or decide later. One photo at a time, at your own pace. No AI makes decisions for you. Nothing gets deleted until you review everything and confirm.
We also made a few promises to ourselves early on: no ads, no subscriptions, no data collection, and no uploads. Your photos are personal. They should stay on your device.
What Pixtide stands for
Intentional
Every design choice serves the goal of helping you make clear decisions about your photos. No feature bloat, no distractions.
Safe
Multiple layers of confirmation before anything gets deleted. Your photos deserve that kind of care.
Calm
No urgency timers, no gamification tricks, no pressure to keep going. Take your time. Come back whenever you want.
